The Results of the Entrance Examination Campaign Were Summed up at the Meeting of the Pedagogical Council of Sumy Theological Seminary

On the 31st of August 2017 a meeting of the Pedagogical Council dedicated to the start of the new 2017-2018 academic year took place at Sumy Theological Seminary. The Rector of the Seminary, Archbishop Eulogiy headed the meeting.

Opening the meeting of the Pedagogical Council, The Most Reverend Rector congratulated all the teachers on the beginning of a new academic year and announced the results of the entrance examinations.

Then His Eminence introduced the Council new teachers who will work at the Seminary: Tsimbal M.V., Duvanov D.S., Stelmakh A.V.

The Pedagogical Council also distributed the academic disciplines among the teachers, discussed the draft calendar work plan and other issues related to the beginning of the new 2017-2018 academic year.

In conclusion, His Eminence Archbishop Eulogiy gave an archpastoral blessing on the beginning of the academic year. By singing the Hymn to Theotokos "In thee, O Virgin without spot the bounds of nature have been overcome..." dedicated to Her Dormition, the Pedagogical Council completed its work.
