SUMY THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY CELEBRATED THE NEW YEAR WITH A PRAYER

At night on December 31, 2017 to January 1, 2018 with the blessing of His Eminence Rector, Archbishop of Sumy and Akhtyrka Eulogius the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the seminary church of St. Simeon New Theologian and Holy Righteous John of Kronstadt.

Earlier, in the evening, the teachers and the students of Sumy Theological Seminary prayed at Sumy Transfiguration Cathedral at the service of the Beginning of the New Year and the Great Vespers and Matins in honour of the Reverend Father Amphilochius of Pochaev as well as the Saint Martyr Bonifatius whose holy relics had been carried out of bishop's cell sacristy for worshiping of believers.
