Missionary Divine Liturgy in the church of the Resurrection in Lebedyn.
On April 10, 2016, in the 4th week of Lent and in the day of rememberence venerable St. Ioahn Lestvechnyk,with the blessing of the Rector of Sumy Seminary named after of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr (Sabodan) and by the invitation of the rural dean of Lebedinsky District, prior of the church of Resurrection in Lebedyn - priesthood Laurentii (Kushnirchuk), vice-rector for academical and disciplinary work of the seminary and the head of the missionary department of the Sumy diocese - monk Antonii (Bondarenko) served a church service in the order of Liturgy of Basylii Velykii in the church of the Resurrection in Lebedyn.
The liturgy was attended by students of Sumy Seminary.

Before the beginning of the Divine Liturgy father Anthonii told the congregation about the religious rites that take place at the altar during proskomedia, and explained the significance of the sacred vessels used in the sacrament of Communion.
The freshman of seminary Pavel Fedoryshyn told about significance of the litanies, antiphons, small entrance, reading the Epistle and Gospel.
The meaning of augmented, the funeral, the catechumens and the faithful litanies, the Great Entrance, the Cherubic Hymn, litany of supplication and Creed commented Kuzan Ivan – senior of seminary.
The vice-rector of seminary disclosed the Theology of the Eucharistic Canon and the need for frequent of Holy Communion.

After the church service, prior of the church of Resurrection monk Laurentii (Kushnirchuk) adressed to the participant of the Holy Eucharist. In his speech he had thanked the rector of the seminary Evlogii - the Archbishop of Sumy and Akhtyrka for the opportunity of conducting missionary church service, noting that such a service with an explanation and commentary of religious rites was conducted at first time.
