Meeting of the Pedagogical Council of Sumy Theological Seminary Before the Beginning of 2016-2017 Academic Year

 On 31of August, 2016 in Sumy Theological Seminary was held the meeting of the Pedagogical Council of the Seminary, dedicated to the start of the 2016-2017 academic year. The meeting was chaired by the rector of the Seminary, the Archbishop Sumskiy and Akhtyrskiy Eulogiy.

 Opening the meeting of the Pedagogical Council, the Rector congratulated all the teachers on beginning of new academic year and has reported the results of entrance examinations.

Then His Eminence presented to the Council new teachers who will work on a teaching career in a Seminary: Archimandrite Seraphim (Pankratov), the priest Peter Pasichnik, Pylypiva V. N., A.I. Mozgovaya , Shtyka A. P.

 In coming academic year, in connection with the reorganization of the Sumy Pastoral-Theological School in Sumy Theological Seminary, introduced new subjects: Apologetics, Rhetoric, Logic, Church art, Stylistics of Ukrainian language.

 To improve the educational process was introduced the position of teacher on duty, Vice- rector for Academic and Disciplinary Work.

 The pedagogical Council also distributed the items among the teachers, discussed the project of calendar work plan and other issues related to accession in the new 2016-2017 academic year.
