In Sumy Theological Seminary Was Held Entrance Exams

On 31of August, 2016 in Sumy theological Seminary behalf of his Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir (Sabodan) was held entrance examinations.

Before the exam at the seminary’s chapel in honor of St. Simeon Noviy Bogoslov and John of Kronstadt served moleben at the beginning of good deeds.

For admission to the Seminary, was lodged 31 request.

The examination Commission consisted of the whole teaching staff, headed by the rector of the Seminary, the Archbishop Sumskiy and Akhtyrskiy Eulogiy.

During entrance exams the applicants wrote an essay on suggested topics, demonstrated their knowledge in such disciplines as Sacred Biblical history, the doctrine of the Church, Orthodox Liturgy, the skills of Church singing and reading in Church Slavonic. Traditionally, applicants were interviewed, which showed how consciously and serious applicants apply to their choice to become pastors of the Church of Christ, what is the level of the pilgrims ' churchliness.

After passing the exam and interview, final results were declared.
