Created the Sumy Theological Seminary

On October 17, 2015 the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church considered about reorganization of Sumy Pastoral Theological School by raising its status to the level of Theological Seminary with the right of training specialists with bachelor level of Orthodox Theology.

Members of the Synod blessed the creation of Sumy Seminary and appointed its rector Reverend Evlogii, Archbishop of Sumy and Akhtyrka. (Journal №44)
