Archimandrite Anastasiy (Panov)
Archimandrite Anastasiy (Panov Alexander Victorovich), was born on January 8, 1982 in Kharkov. He studied at the school № 94, №178 and № 112 in Kharkov.
After school, 2 years bore obedience cantor and sacristan in the church of the Pokrov in Pozhnya (Veliko-Pisarevskiy district, Sumy region.).
In 2004, he graduated from Sumy Pastoral Theological School, in 2005 - the Kiev Theological Seminary.
From 2003 to 2008 bore obedience reader in Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral in Sumy and subdeacon of Archbishop of Sumy and Akhtyrka Brand (Petrovac). Since 2005 - the teacher of Sumy Pastoral Theological School (canon law, the general church history, the history of the local church homiletics, the history of Orthodoxy in Russia in the XX century), also inspector’s assistant of the Theological School.
During the stay at the department of Sumy Eminence Archbishop Mark (Petrovciy) served obedience liaison with the press, was the founder and editor of the official website of the Press Service of the Diocese of Sumy, was a member of the editorial board of the diocesan newspaper "Orthodox Sumy".
In July 2008, he was transfered to the Diocese of Khust. On December 19, 2008, the feast of St. Nicholas the Chudotvorets, Archbishop of Khust and Vynohradov Mark ordained deacon. He served as a cleric in the Nicholas Monastery in Iza-Karputlash, combining service with the responsibilities of senior sub-deacon of the Ruling Bishop.
On April 7, 2011, the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Archbishop Mark (Petrovac) was ordained a priest.
In 2011-2013 performed the priestly ministry in Kherson, in the Holy Spirit Cathedral, performed various administrative obedience in the office of the Kherson diocese.
On July 10, 2011 Archbishop of Kherson and Tauride Ioahn (Siopko) tonsured a monk with the name of Anastasiy, in honor of the Martyr Anastasiy Pecherskiy.
Since 2013 – cleric of Sumy diocese of the UOC. Since 04.24.2013 to 08.07.2013 - rector of the hospital chapel of St. Ksenia of St. Petersburg at the 1st Sumy City Clinical Hospital. At the present time - a cleric of Spaso-Preobrazhenskiy Cathedral in Sumy, the Head of the diocesan administration, the head of the diocesan Publishing Department.
For the holiday of Easter in 2014 was awarded the right to wear a cross with ornaments. On March 21, 2015 the Archbishop of Sumy and Akhtyrka Evlogii elevated to the rank of Archimandrite.
