About the personal grant of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr
1. General Provisions
1.1. This Regulation defines the procedure for appointment and payment the personal grant behalf of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr for students of full-time form of education of Sumy Seminary (further STS).
1.2. Changes and amendments to the Regulations shall be made by the decision of the Pedagogical Council of STS.
1.3. The scholarship is a monetary payment, appointed by the students of the STS.
1.4. Personal scholarships assigned to students at the expense of funding the STS.
1.5. Personal scholarship is a means of material incentives for the student’s success in their studies, exemplary behavior and active participation in various spheres of life of the STS.
1.6. The scholarship is determined by the Administration of STS.
2. The procedure for appointment and payment of scholarships
2.1. Personal scholarships of STS appointed in honor of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr (Sabodan).
2.2. The size of the scholarship is established in the amount of 500 hryvnias monthly payments.
2.3. Repayment period another scholarship - 20-25 of each month.
2.4. Named scholarships are awarded STS students with high academic achievement, characterized by exemplary behavior and diligence in carrying out their obedience, are actively involved in the relogious life of the school.
2.5. The student receives the scholarship by decision of the Pedagogical Council.
2.6. Revision of scholarship payments, on the basis of the higher school examinations, performed on December 30 and 31 August each year.
2.7. Calculation of scholarships are made on the basis of a consolidated statement of semi-annual and annual performance evaluations in accordance with the performance category.
2.8. To the grant represent student graduated course in the first category of the first rank.
2.9. The right to nominate candidates for presentation to the scholarship are:
- Rector;
- Vice-rector for academical and disciplinary work;
- Secretary of the Board;
- Teachers.
2.10. Personal scholarships to students appointed annually for a period of one semester.
2.11. The student of the award of a scholarship, may be deprived of such order of the rector on the basis of the decision of the Pedagogical Council due to the deterioration of academic performance, gross violation of the rules, commit other actions incompatible with the title of nominal scholarship.
2.12. The student of the award of a scholarship may be submitted for the award of no more than two times over the years of his training in the STS.
2.13. The students, once deprived of the scholarship Rector order, can not be re-submitted in the future to be awarded nominal scholarships.
2.14. In the case of leaving student-nominal scholarship in an academic leave or expulsion from the STS to pay him a scholarship stops in the manner provided for the calculation of the regular academic scholarships.
3. The commitee members and authority of the scholarship committee
3.1. STS Scholarship Commission is a collective body exercising control over the appointment, recalculation, deprivation of scholarships within the authority defined in this Regulation.
3.2. In its activities the committee under the control and accountable to the rector.
3.3. The committee members of the scholarship committee is approved by order of the Rector.
3.4. The committee members of the scholarship committee consists of:
Rector - Chairman;
Secretary of the Board- Vice Chairman;
Vice-rector for academical and disciplinary work.
3.5. Scholarship committee meeting held in late September.
3.6. Decisions of Scholarship Committee formalize according to the protocol and submitted for approval to the Rector no later than 2 of every month, and then sent to the accounting office of the Sumy Diocese.
