On the Day of Birth of A. P. Chekhov the Students of the Seminary Visited the House-Museum of the Writer.

On 29 of January 2017, with the blessing of Archbishop of Sumy and Akhtyrka Eulogii, on the birthday of the famous writer Anton Chekhov, students of Sumy Theological Seminary headed by Vice-Rector Archimandrite Anthony (Bondarenko) held a Requiem service at the Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist. In this temple, during his  stay in Sumy, prayed, Anton Pavlovich. After the memorial service, the researcher of  house-Museum of A. P. Chekhov, Mayboroda D. V. had a tour of the house where lived and worked Anton Chekhov together with his brother. Seminary students were treated with warm tea and told interesting stories from the life of the great writer.
