Educational Committee of the UOC Held a Meeting

On 7 of March, 2017 in the church and archaeological study of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary under the chairmanship of the Bishop of Irpen Clement held a meeting of the education Committee of the Holy Synod of the UOC.

 With the blessing of his Eminence Archbishop of Sumy and Akhtyrka Eulogii the Vice-rector for Academic and Disciplinary Work of the Sumy Theological Seminary Archimandrite Anthonii (Bondarenko) took part in the event.

During the meeting, they discussed the Provision of nominal grant of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to the best students of high theological schools of the UOC.

At the meeting also discussed topical issues of the life of theological schools of the UOC and discussed the main directions of work of the education Committee.

Participants had the opportunity to see samples of the new textbooks for theological schools, which are recommended for use in the educational process.

Members of the Commission of the MES of Ukraine for state recognition of diplomas of higher theological educational institutions have reported the process of the work of this Commission and provided recommendations to accelerate the necessary paperwork.
